Anna Moisiadis's newest abstract series, Everything's Fine, is composed of hand-cut paper, pencil lines, writing, and layers of massaged pigment. In this series, Moisiadis aims to define her narrative in a new way. “Everything's Fine” reflects how loaded these words became during the pandemic and after, when emotions were running high. The shape of the ellipse intermingles against a backdrop of layered ink and repeated line or writing. Working together, these dissimilar mediums are a visual manifestation of Moisiadis's ups and downs throughout the pandemic; visceral impulses and focused, introspective epiphanies.
